Where did you earn your Pro status?

Tell us a little about yourself….

 

I’m a certified personal trainer from Houston.

I own my own business called dfitproFitness.

I specialize in nutrition, one on one training, group training, virtual training.

 

How did you get started with bodybuilding?

 

In 2013, I did my first NPC show in Gilbert AZ and placed 6th. I prepped myself using YouTube and Google.

 

Where does your motivation come from?

 

Seeing how I can take my body to different levels by doing proper things consistent and also winning! My show critiques also provide motivation because they help me set new goals.

 

What are some of your greatest achievements?

 

Turning Pro in 2016

Being featured in a magazine

Being a role model for my peers

 

What is your current training philosophy?

 

Push – pull

Track my meals daily

Cardio every morning

Rest on Sunday

 

What are 3 tips you would give to someone trying to reach their goal physique?

 

Stick with people that motivate you daily

And always true to you

Listen to your coach, do what you are told

Go 200 percent in the gym and nutrition

 

What is your diet like? And does it differ on-season v. off-season?

 

Definitely diet is different on prep, I cut salt seasoning and cut out processed foods and everything is measured.

Off season it’s more eating what you feel, having cheat meals, and less cardio

 

When trying to cut down what type of cardio do you do and why?

 

Fasted every morning and HITT after each workout

Why? Fasted help burn body fat

HITT helps with cutting
